Join one of the 1.7 million volunteers nationally in helping to end senior hunger !
- Drive your own car and deliver nutritious meals to seniors.
- Opportunities to volunteer as a group, individually, or as a company.
- Delivery of meals is done each weekday during the lunch hour.
- You will pick up meals at a site, and delivery meals between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily. (except weekends & holidays)
- Delivery routes have between eight to twelve seniors taking approx. 30-60 minutes.
- You can be a regular or substitute volunteer driver.
As a Meals-on-Wheels volunteer you not only are delivering a warm nutritious meal, but also providing a comforting visit to homebound seniors.
All applicants must pass a criminal background.
Meals-on-Wheels does not provide court-appointed community service opportunities..
