The Mountainland Foundation is committed to protecting the privacy and safe guarding your personal, financial, security, and other sensitive information on its website. Outlined below is the Foundation’s online privacy policy for information collected through its website and e-mail lists.

The Foundation will not share or otherwise disclose any personal information, including a donors name, address, or e-mail addresses with any other organizations. Only  Foundation staff and its authorized agents have access to personally identifiable information provided by visitors to its site.

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the  Foundation’s website. It does not apply to information collected on third-party websites linked to and from the Foundation site if applicable. The site is designed to ease in the efforts of our visitors who make donations, make requests, and register to receive materials and/or information. The Mountainland Foundation uses information provided when individuals place an order, make a request, or make a donation to complete that order, request, or donation. The Foundation does not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete the requested order. The organization may use the information provided to contact the person and/or donor by telephone, mail, or e-mail for internal marketing and fundraising purposes. Donors can request to be removed from marketing and fundraising lists by contacting the Foundation office at (801)-229-3847.

Though the Mountainland Foundation makes every effort to preserve donor and customer privacy, the organization may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein it has a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order, or legal process served on its organization.

Should the Mountainland Foundation decide to change or alter its privacy policy, the organization will post those changes to its homepage, this privacy statement, and other places deemed appropriate so donors and interested parties are always aware of what information is collected, how it is used, and under what circumstances, if any, the organization has disclosed it. If, however, the Foundation is going to use a users’ personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, the organization will notify said users via e-mail.

The Foundation does not use this service to gather, request, record, require, collect, or track any Internet users’ personally identifiable information.

The Mountainland Foundation maintains an e-mail list to keep interested parties informed about breaking events. Individuals must request to join the mailing lists. Individuals who provide optional information may also receive materials in the U.S. mail and or be contacted by telephone by authorized Foundation representatives. In addition, the organization does not share the e-mail addresses on its lists with those outside of Foundation staff and authorized agents. The organization configures its list server software to refuse to divulge the e-mail addresses of its list subscribers to anyone but authorized Mountainland Foundation staff and agents. Only Mountainland Foundation staff and its authorized agents have access to personally identifiable information provided by visitors to its site.

The Mountainland Foundation will take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of visitors personally identifiable information. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under the organizations control.
