HISTORY

Founded in 1996 as a, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, in partnership with Mountainland  Aging & Family Services. The Mountainland Foundation’s mission  is “to make available resources for essential services that improve health, reduce isolation, and promote independent living for seniors in the community.”

The Mountainland Foundation focus is developing community support for seniors  programs such as Meals on Wheels. Our programs assist seniors and their families in Summit, Utah and Wasatch Counties.

Our primary goals are:

  • Alleviating senior hunger
  • Assisting seniors in living independently in their own home
  •  Supporting  programs for our aging citizens, their families and the community

The Mountainland Foundation  is guided by a Board of Trustees who represent the communities, and individuals we serve. The board also oversees and guides our operations and the financial well-being  of the foundation.

The Mountainland Foundation is unique because:

  • ALL donations (100%) go directly to support seniors in our local communities.
  • No administrative costs are taken from private donations.
  • As a donor, you can designate your contribution to a specified need or program.

The Mountainland Foundation is  a resource in the community assisting those in the community who are on the journey of the aging process. So that  no matter what stage you find yourself  in, whether caring for an aging family member or in need of resource, we are here to show that our community has the  wherewithal  to care for its aging citizens.
